Yes!  You can take ExpatTV anywhere you travel and have the same channels and on-demand content available, anywhere in the world!

First, one VERY important step to take BEFORE you leave home…

Many hotel and condo wifi systems require a web browser in order to log in, usually providing your name and room number or other identifying information.  It is important that you install a web browser while you are connected to your own Internet/wifi, BEFORE you leave, or you can create a Catch-22 where you cannot connect to wifi because you don’t have a web browser, and you can’t download a web browser because you don’t have wifi.  Use the Market app or the Google Play app on your system’s home screen or in the Locker on the home screen to install a web browser.  We recommend Chrome.

Then, when at the hotel or condo, the host’s wifi login should spawn a browser window so that you can finish logging in.

If the wifi system to which you are trying to connect does not automatically open a browser window, you will need technical assistance from the hotel’s or the condo’s personnel.  We cannot help you troubleshoot a wifi system that we know nothing about.

If you find yourself on the road and without the needed browser, you can set up a mobile hotspot using your cellular phone, attach the ExpatTV system to your phone’s hotspot via wifi, and use the hotspot’s Internet access long enough to download a web browser.

Second, BE SURE THAT YOU TAKE THE REMOTE CONTROL!
